MOLD REMEDIATION
Mold Remediation is the process of identifying mold, cleaning it and preventing it from returning. Proper use of PPE and other safety procedures are necessary.
Mold can grow almost anywhere in a home or business if the conditions allow.
One of the first signs of concern is visible mold growth on painted wall surfaces. If you can visually see mold, property owners should be concerned about what could be growing on the wall’s opposite side. The environment inside the walls of a building often differs drastically from the outside due to light and moisture, and can create a perfect storm for mold growth. If drywall or a ceiling tile remains wet for a prolonged period of time, it’s almost certain that the mold growth on the backside (where you can’t see) is going to be worse than on the visible side. If this occurs, containing the area and removing moldy material needs to be done right away, followed by the cleaning of all salvageable materials.
